The certification recognizes Walker’s practices as being in agreement with
the U.S./European Union Data Protection Safe Harbor Arrangement, which
clarifies international privacy laws across the globe. The
Indianapolis-based company’s privacy practices and programs were reviewed
and certified by TRUSTe, an independent organization offering the world’s
largest privacy certification program.
Walker conducts more than 400,000 online surveys for clients across the
world every year, and this certification ensures further confidentiality to
all Walker clients and respondents. Respondents will now have an additional
assurance of privacy, since clients using the Walker SmartLoyalty™ System –
the company’s web-based customer loyalty management solution – will no
longer have access to individual feedback in individual reports.
Walker’s certification provides a clear standard for other
