ViryaNet Wireless Workforce Management to Integrate With Amdocs Order Management System

Combined solution offers integration of ordering and field workforce automation for the telecommunications industry

SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass.--Sept. 10, 2001-- ViryaNet (NASDAQ:VRYA - news), a provider of enterprise and mid-market wireless workforce management solutions for field service communities, today announced a cooperative agreement with Amdocs, the world's leading provider of CRM, billing, and order management solutions to the communications and IP industry. The new offering combines Amdocs Order Management System (OMS), which is part of Amdocs Ensemble customer care and billing platform, with ViryaNet's wireless workforce management solution.

The combined Amdocs and ViryaNet solution will automate order management, provisioning, and fulfillment -- from order negotiation, through field delivery and workforce management, to customer billing. The solution will improve data integrity, consistency and accuracy, and increase successful transactions.

Amdocs OMS supports communications operators for ordering of voice, data, and IP products and services. It simplifies capturing customer requests, provides wizard-driven negotiation, offers immediate information about product offerings, product availability, network resources, price plans and sales aids, and enables the simple and rapid definition of new products and services.

ViryaNet's wireless workforce management solution enables organizations to efficiently manage the entire service delivery process and ensures that the right technician arrives at the right location at the right time with the right parts and information. The ViryaNet solution schedules and dispatches appropriate resources, captures logistics and labor activity, and monitors, reports, and measures field activity.

``Combining our respective world-class solutions will create an automated environment that minimizes service delivery time, optimizes resource utilization within the OSS, enhances data integrity, and reduces the number of failed orders and duplicate field dispatches,'' said Win Burke, president and CEO, ViryaNet.
