To assist and facilitate rapid integration between the two products, Remedy Help Desk foundation data constructs can be imported into the viaTIL mapping function, and be leveraged to automatically or manually generate viaTIL data elements relating to their Remedy Help Desk counterparts. viaTILconnect for Remedy Help Desk can be easily extended to other “out-the-box” or customized Remedy® IT service management applications, and/or any custom built Action Request System application, through an integration template provided with the connector. With this integration capability any current or future Remedy Help Desk or Action Request System customer can further utilize, leverage, and extend their Action Request System investment to support the best practice and enterprise capabilities offered by viaTIL.
