Aberdeen Group Taps Vertical Solutions with “Top Ten CRM Implementation”

October 15, 2002 – Cincinnati, OH – Vertical Solutions, Inc. (VSI), a leading developer of next generation Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for help desk, customer service, and sales organizations, announced today that VSI and ABB Automation Service are the recipients of the Aberdeen Group’s 2002 “Top Ten CRM Implementations in Services Management Award”.

This award is a joint research initiative in accordance with a recent study conducted by the Association for Services Management International (AFSMI) – a global organization dedicated to the career development of executives in the high-technology and services industries – and Aberdeen Group, a leading market analysis and positioning services firm. The study, entitled, What Works: Ten Significant Implementations in Services Management, provides a comprehensive overview of the well- established customer service management and field service segment of CRM.

VSI’s completely web based PowerHelp Millennium 7 solution was successfully implemented during the second quarter of this year. PowerHelp Millennium 7’s data level XML architecture and Web Services enabled VSI and ABB Automation Service to form tight integrations with several mission critical systems while receiving a significant return on investment. VSI and ABB Automation Service’s staff established a strong rapport during the business processes evaluation stages which enabled them improve customer service, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiencies by providing a single point of contact for ABB Automation’s customers. PowerHelp Millennium 7 is currently being expanded into Canada, Sweden, Germany, and Finland to support ABB’s 24/7/365 customer service operation.
