ABB Customer Service Goes Live with Vertical Solutions

August 13, 2002 – Cincinnati, OH – Vertical Solutions, Inc. (VSI), a leading developer of next generation Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for help desk, customer service, and sales organizations, announced that ABB Inc., a leader in power and industrial automation, has implemented and gone live with its completely web based PowerHelp Millennium 7 software suite for use within their U.S. Automation Service organization.

PowerHelp Millennium 7’s data level XML architecture and Web Services enabled VSI and ABB Automation Service to form tight integrations with several mission critical systems. PowerHelp Millennium 7’s completely web based platform provided ABB Automation Service the ability to simplify and streamline business processes utilizing the latest technologies. The System Console & Monitoring component permits full functionality anywhere, anytime via the web and allows ABB Automation Service to drill down to any portion of the application, database, or network to proactively determine possible problem areas.  PowerHelp Millennium 7 is currently being expanded into Canada, Sweden, Germany, and Finland to support ABB’s customer service operation.
