MELVILLE, N.Y, October 06, 2003 – Verint Systems (Company Profile, Past Stories, Case Studies) Inc.  (NASDAQ: VRNT), a leading provider of analytic software-based solutions for communications interception, digital video security and surveillance, and enterprise business intelligence, today announced that ULTRA™ IntelliFind, Verint’s analytical solution for generating actionable intelligence from free-form speech, has been named a TMC Labs Innovation Award winner by Customer Inter@ction Solutions® magazine.

IntelliFind utilizes patent-pending indexing, categorization and ranking technologies to create a searchable audio database generated from customer interactions in a contact center. It enables decision makers to quickly identify calls relevant to specific business objectives based on user-defined criteria, including key words and phrases.

Using IntelliFind, decision makers throughout an enterprise can “subscribe” to and automatically receive calls that include specific customer intelligence to help them meet their business objectives. Individual users can also create customized audio searches based on their unique requirements.  IntelliFind enables organizations to make better decisions about important business issues including:
·       Increasing customer retention and reducing churn
·       Enhancing customer satisfaction and reducing complaints
·       Identifying new competitive threats and opportunities

“We are proud that TMC Labs has singled out IntelliFind for this award because the selection process thoroughly evaluated every feature of the powerful analytical solution,” said Lou Boudreau, Chief Technology Officer of Verint’s Contact Center Solutions.  “This award reaffirms our belief that IntelliFind will enable forward-thinking companies to extract intelligence from the massive amount of information in customer interactions so they can enhance performance, process and profitability.”
The TMC Labs Innovation Awards emphasize technological innovation and product feature sets.  TMC Labs has built a solid reputation in the industry, and pledges to continue providing the most complete, most objective, and most definitive product reviews in the trade.
