EDS Canada Selects PeopleSoft's Pure Internet HRMS Applications To Manage CIBC's Global WorkforceIndustry Leading HR Solution To Increase Employee Productivity and SatisfactionPLEASANTON, Calif.--Dec. 4, 2001--PeopleSoft, Inc. (Nasdaq:PSFT - news) today announced that EDS Canada has licensed PeopleSoft 8 Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS) as part of an HR outsourcing contract for Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (TSE:CM - news). PeopleSoft's industry-leading HR applications and EDS' outsourcing services will provide Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) with a pure internet solution for managing its global HR operations.The PeopleSoft 8 HRMS application suite will streamline CIBC's HR business processes and provide employees worldwide with improved access to key HR information and services. EDS Canada will deploy and manage the PeopleSoft 8 HRMS solution for CIBC, enabling 40,000 employees to perform critical personnel tasks online.
