Mobius Announces Integration With PeopleSoft 8Software Provides Web Access and Automated Distribution of PeopleSoft Reports and DocumentsRYE, N.Y.--Dec. 4, 2001--Mobius Management Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: MOBI - news), a leading provider of Web-based software for managing and presenting enterprise content, today announced the integration of Mobius ViewDirect and PeopleSoft 8, the latest and all-Internet version of PeopleSoft (Nasdaq: PSFT - news) business solutions.The ViewDirect interface to PeopleSoft 8 provides Web access and automated distribution of output reports and other electronic documents associated with PeopleSoft applications. The integration interface is available for PeopleSoft Financial, Human Resource Management Systems and Student Administration applications. The PeopleSoft 8 integration interface features: Automatic Synchronization - Selected information about PeopleSoft operators, classes, and security is automatically synchronized into ViewDirect, reducing administration costs, eliminating redundant administration activities, and resulting in faster deployment with fewer errors. Comprehensive Security Integration - A template-based implementation methodology allows for quick and tight integration with any level of customized PeopleSoft security, including multiple security fields and standard and custom security trees. Unified Single Sign-on - No separate login to the Mobius viewing clients is required; a logged on PeopleSoft user is automatically authenticated and may begin viewing the reports and documents they are permitted to access using a browser-based thin-client. ViewDirect supports documents in a wide range of formats including output from PeopleSoft Query, Crystal Reports, nVision, Excel and SQR; print-formatted documents, such as customer statements, created in PostScript, PCL, IBM AFP, Xerox DJDE/Metacode and others; and scanned images, such as checks, correspondence and photographs. ``Mutual customers of PeopleSoft and Mobius will be pleased with the capabilities of our interface to PeopleSoft 8,'' Murphy concluded. ``It will help corporations leverage the information generated by their PeopleSoft applications for maximum productivity and superior customer service, while improving the return on their investment in enterprise resource planning.''
