ANAHEIM, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 15, 2003--At its Connect 2003 conference, PeopleSoft (Company Profile, Past Stories, Case Studies) (Nasdaq:PSFT - News) today introduced major enhancements to its support offering, setting a new standard in the industry. The new policy is built upon PeopleSoft's industry-leading, four-year support policy and includes:
Software fixes and updates for four years from general
availability.

Upgrade scripts to the most current release for five years.
Tax and related regulatory changes for six years.
Technical support with access to in-depth problem solving
assistance and technical expertise, case management,

self-service support tools and technical knowledge bases

indefinitely.

PeopleSoft Support Services offers subsequent software enhancements, upgrade tools, access to technical expertise, and worldwide 24x7 real-time support for PeopleSoft applications. In addition, PeopleSoft support allows customers access to industry best practices, new product functionality, software fixes, and tax and regulatory updates for the licensed software.

The enhanced support is available for PeopleSoft's internet-based applications -- PeopleSoft versions 8.0 and above and future release PeopleSoft Enterprise, as well as J.D. Edwards 5 and future releases of PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne. For PeopleSoft 7.5 customers, PeopleSoft will continue to provide direct upgrade scripts and upgrade support to PeopleSoft 8.8 releases of Human Capital Management, Financial Management and Supply Chain Management throughout 2004.
