KPMG Holding Selects PeopleSoft's Supplier Relationship Management Solution (email this article)

PLEASANTON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 29, 2003--PeopleSoft Inc. (Nasdaq:PSFT - News) (Company Profile, Past Stories, Case Studies) today announced that Netherlands-based KPMG Holding NV, a division of KPMG International Group, selected PeopleSoft's Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) solution in the second quarter. PeopleSoft's industry-leading SRM solution will enable KPMG Holding NV to gain complete visibility and centralized control over its total corporate spend, from materials and supplies to contracted services.

PeopleSoft SRM will be deployed to more than 4,000 employees across KPMG's Netherlands organization, which already uses PeopleSoft Financials and Human Capital Management solutions. KPMG Holding NV will deploy PeopleSoft SRM including eProcurement, Services Procurement and Purchasing. As a result, KPMG will gain insight into its internal spend, better monitor and streamline its procurement processes, and improve commitment control. KPMG selected PeopleSoft's SRM solution over Oracle and Procuro based on PeopleSoft's product superiority and the longstanding, strong relationship it has with PeopleSoft. Based upon its experience rapidly implementing other PeopleSoft solutions, KPMG Holding NV expects to implement PeopleSoft SRM in just weeks.
