Strong, multi-level security is included with standard FootPrints products to ensure that users’ web sessions are always private and protected when using an SSL enabled web server. With FootPrints Email Encryption, organizations using Exchange 5.5 and Outlook can incorporate expanded security features into their FootPrints installation, and fully encrypt their incoming and outgoing plain text email messages traveling across a LAN or the Internet. FootPrints Email Encryption integrates seamlessly with FootPrints, adding the highest level of security to the software’s extensive email capabilities for incoming and outgoing communications. Organizations can fully protect information in FootPrints emails for both internal and external users, encrypting the transmission and receipt of all email messages, including proprietary, sensitive or private messages. Email updates to customers and employees, notification alerts to technicians, and other messages – along with file attachments – are fully encrypted. The module decrypts incoming email before it goes into the database.
