Edison, NJ (September 15, 2004) – UniPress Software (Company Profile, Past Stories, Case Studies), Inc., a leading provider of web-based service desk automation software, today announced that its first annual FootPrints User Conference will showcase cutting edge service desk deployments across a broad range of industries. The event, which will be held September 27 through October 1 in Las Vegas, NV at the Luxor Hotel, will provide customers with an interactive forum to exchange best practices, technologies, and learn how FootPrints is being used to automate help desk and customer service operations worldwide. In addition, service desk industry experts will provide insights and trends related to help desk and customer support management, such as the use of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library® (ITIL) best practices standard.

The 2004 FootPrints User Conference reinforces the strong growth of the FootPrints product line. This year, UniPress has continued to record strong quarter-over-quarter sales, helping organizations of all sizes automate their help desk and customer service operations.

The event will feature keynote presentations from Mark Krieger, President of UniPress Software, John Ragsdale, Principal Analyst for Enterprise Applications at Forrester Research, Eric Rabinowitz, President of DEMA Education, and Troy DuMoulin, Managing Consultant at Pink Elephant.

The 2004 FootPrints User Conference consists of two tracks. The first component (September 27-28) is specifically designed for managers, agents, and administrators involved with help desk and customer service operations within their respective organizations. At the conference, they will learn how to improve their skills, optimize their FootPrints investment, and get a first look at other products and services available to help deliver world-class service and support. Numerous FootPrints customers will give presentations on their specialized use of the product. Attendees will also be able to interact directly with other FootPrints customers, peers, and industry experts to exchange ideas and discover new techniques. This experience will allow managers, agents, and administrators to maximize the business value of their web-based service desk.

The second component (September 29-October 1), is a three-day skills development course for help desk managers. The course - the Help Desk Institute’s (HDI) Help Desk Manager Course - will be delivered by DEMA Education, an HDI Certified Training Partner of UniPress Software. The course is designed to provide help desk managers with the knowledge necessary to successfully master strategic and tactical aspects of support center management and to prepare them for the HDI certification test.

“We are extremely excited about the strong response and attendance for our first ever FootPrints User Conference,” said Mr. Krieger. “This event will provide our customers with a very comprehensive forum to learn and exchange ideas on optimizing their FootPrints-powered service and support operations. It will also provide us with a means to get feedback and leverage this to make the FootPrints product line even better.”
