This latest release of TechExcel HelpDesk Suite features the industry’s best employee Web portal, providing a powerful self-service and support automation solution that includes built-in solution template support for out-of-the-box configuration.
TechExcel HelpDesk 5.0 represents TechExcel’s commitment to provide the market with help desk software that offers high-end features and functionality without requiring additional programming or consulting services for deployment and maintenance. With the release of TechExcel HelpDesk 5.0, TechExcel has enhanced the Employee Web Portal to further facilitate employee self-service through an improved user interface and dynamic FAQ support. The Employee Web Portal provides employees and internal users with the ability to log support tickets, query the knowledge base, view published resolutions and FAQs, and check the status of their issues. TechExcel HelpDesk 5.0 features an improved Employee Web Portal user interface that is customizable with user definable themes. A user interface theme consists of the complete style sheet specification for every single GUI element of the Employee Web Portal so users can completely control its look and feel. Users can select from pre-installed themes, download a standard theme, or define their own user interface themes. In addition to GUI customization with themes, the Employee Web Portal also includes dynamic FAQ creation and management to provide users with more convenient access to answers to the most common self-service questions.
The TechExcel HelpDesk 5.0 release also introduces a new tool to speed evaluation and deployment of the solution. With the addition of Solution Templates, TechExcel solutions can be pre-configured to deliver powerful business configuration out-of-the-box. Solution Templates are specifically designed to support a variety of business types and by selecting the template that most closely matches their business need, users can evaluate and deploy the entire suite or individual modules quicker and easier, reducing evaluation and deployment costs while maximizing immediate gains for their investment and business efficiency. The combination of the ready-to-use business solutions with the ability to further customize and refine represents a new alternative to traditional help desk software implementations.
