TeamShare, Inc. Offers New Synchronization Solution for its ProductsCompany is first software manufacturer to provide corporate solution for Palm Powered hand-held computers with browsing and synchronizing capabilitiesCOLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (August 8, 2000) - TeamShare, Inc., a leading manufacturer of web-based workflow management software, has devised a way for its customers to access live TeamTrack information utilizing their Palm PoweredTM hand-held computers at any time, from anywhere. The new product, TeamTrack Mobile must be used with either tTrack or tSupport and is currently available for purchase or on a free, trial basis at www.teamshare.com.The product works in two scenarios, depending on the needs and goals of the user. The browsing scenario allows customers to interact directly with their TeamTrack system through a secure Palm-compatible browser. Though other providers of tracking software have off-line synchronization capabilities, TeamShare’s TeamTrack Mobile offers real-time, live SSL Palm-compatible browser connectivity using a PalmTM hand-held, for example: -An engineering manager commuting to work can use his Palm handheld with a wireless modem to connect to the tTrack system and generate a status report showing all outstanding issues. -A technician using tSupport can access the knowledge base, resolve incidents, and submit new incidents live from the field, all via the Palm handheld and a modem. “With this new technology, you can perform virtually all the same TeamTrack functions using the Palm handheld as you can on your office PC” said John Keller, product manager for TeamShare. “We’re excited to bring this innovative technology to market.” The second scenario of TeamTrack Mobile allows users to bring their assignments down to their Palm to-do list application using Aether Systems’ (Nasdaq: AETH) award-winning ScoutWareTM software. For example, before a progress report meeting, an engineer can synchronize his or her to-do list with the TeamTrack system to access details regarding his or her current assignments to the meeting. “These solutions make it possible for technicians, sales people and project managers to access, update and resolve assignments, at any time of day, no matter where they are,” said Keller. “We allow our customers to interact with their system the way they want to, either via the familiar interface of the Palm to-do list or a secure Palm-compatible browser. And both scenarios offer full Internet security.” “Together we are providing realistic and practical mobile solutions for tTrack and tSupport customers who need to access the status of their assignments from remote locations,” said Larry Roshfeld, senior vice president of products for Aether Systems and also a TeamShare customer. “The ability to synchronize data between backend business systems and mobile devices is fueling the rapid growth of the mobile workforce worldwide.” About TeamShare, Inc.: Founded in 1996, TeamShare, Inc. is a Colorado Springs-based software company specializing in development of Web-based workflow management tools.
