TeamShare, Inc. one of top growth leaders in softwareCOLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (June 29, 2001) – TeamShare, Inc. a leading developer of Web-architected collaboration software, today announced it has been identified in the Soft«letter 100 Report as one of the top leaders in revenue growth in the software development industry. TeamShare ranked 81 overall among software companies, up 15 spots from last year. The company experienced a 78 percent growth in revenue from last year. According to the Soft«letter 100 ¾ also known as the software industry’s annual report ¾ the collapse of so many venture-funded companies last year is proof that the companies on the 2001 Soft«letter qualified because they have real revenues and real customers and not just a lot of money and savvy marketing. More than 25 percent of companies on last year’s list were ineligible or dropped from this year’s list. “TeamShare experienced a great increase in revenue last year in an economic climate that saw substantial turmoil in the technology industry,” said Bruce Huebner, TeamShare’s CEO. “I think that’s a reflection of this company’s dedication to creating quality products with excellent customer service and the discipline and desire to listen to our customer needs and adapt in a fast paced environment.” Soft«letter, which defines itself as “a ranking of the top 100 personal computer software companies in the U.S. based on calendar year revenues” has been published every year since 1984. In order to be considered in the ranking, a company must be independent, based in the United States and generate at least half of its revenues from personal computer software development or publishing.
