Synchrony Unveils First Hosted-Anywhere™ Interaction Management Solution

Synchrony 3.0 is Both Licensed and ASP Solution

Cincinnati, November 20, 2000 - Synchrony Communications, first to market with a truly integrated customer interaction management software suite, today announced the release of Synchrony 3.0, the first hosted-anywhere™ interaction management suite. With this announcement, the Synchrony architecture, which, according to IDC is "a model for future CRM outsourcing markets," is now available via both a remote-hosted or licensed model.
Current Synchrony customer West TeleServices, an integrated contact center provider, will become the first customer of Synchrony 3.0. The Synchrony solution will reside within West's data center in Omaha, Nebraska.

"There is a lot of marketing noise in the CRM space, but the fact is that Synchrony is now the only company with both a truly remote-hosted and licensed version of the same solution available on the market today," said Synchrony CEO and founder Mark Richey. "We were the only CRM company to build our solution on a 100% pure Java Internet-enabled framework and we are the only ones who built a robust, Internet-enabled architecture from the ground up."

Multi-tenancy, the ability for more than one company or organization to share one instance of a software solution, is crucial to supporting the disaggregated value chain environment facing businesses today as a result of the Internet's impact on business. The Synchrony 3.0 Hosted Anywhere™ solution can be served out of Synchrony's data centers or a client's data center, allowing forward-thinking IT organizations to become "internal ASPs" for their business unit clients.

"Multi-tenancy is a requirement for integrated contact centers serving multiple customers," said Thomas B. Barker, president and CEO of West TeleServices. "Typical CRM solutions must be customized for each customer or campaign - an expensive and time-consuming process. With Synchrony, we have a multi-tenant, multi-channel eCRM infrastructure that we can use for a variety of current and future West customers. In addition, Synchrony's patent-pending security software that is the heart of their multi-tenant solution means we can serve each customer securely."
