Rochester, NY - August 22, 2000 - The Sutherland Group, Ltd., a leading provider of electronic Customer Relationship Management (eCRM) technology and professional services, today announced a contract extension with Automatic Data Processing (ADP®)(NYSE: AUD), one of the leading providers of human resources, payroll and benefits administration solution in the world.The relationship between Sutherland and ADP began in June of 1999, coinciding with the launch of the eBusiness Services Group within ADP’s Emerging Business Services division (EBS). This group is a key component of ADP Employer Services’ broader Internet strategy to bring clients a range of online administrative solutions that provide ease of use, flexibility, and convenience. The eBusiness Services Web site (www.ebs.adp.com) provides small business customers and prospects online access to a variety of solutions that enable small businesses to efficiently staff, manage, pay, and retain quality employees.
The Web site will provide access to both online and offline solutions, purchasing capabilities, and user support options. Small business customers can select these options through traditional methods, such as over the phone or in person, via the Internet, or a unique combination of both.
The Sutherland Group will be providing Business Process Management services for ADP’s Emerging Business Services (EBS) sales operations. Sutherland will be managing Web-enabled client communications with a dedicated team of Emerging Business Services solutions specialists. The live-assist sales support group will be integrated with EBS’s interactive Web site to help prospective customers select and purchase the most appropriate ADP solution.
