Broadband World Forum, Venice, Italy - September 22, 2004 – SupportSoft (Company Profile, Past Stories, Case Studies) , Inc. (Nasdaq: SPRT), a leading provider of Real-Time Service Management software, today announced that TDC Solutions, a subsidiary of TDC Group and one of the largest Nordic DSL providers, has selected SupportSoft’s service automation solutions to enhance customer service for its 450,000 retail DSL customers.

TDC Solutions intends to use SupportSoft’s Service Automation Suite™ to provide assisted service and self-service solutions to ensure DSL subscribers can access the most effective support channel for their individual needs. Irrespective of their support choice, customers can receive help that is intelligent, personalized and automated for real-time issue diagnosis and resolution. As DSL customer requirements grow more complex with the addition of new products and less technically knowledgeable customers, SupportSoft’s Real-Time Service Management software platform can provide TDC Solutions with a proven, highly scalable service automation approach that can meet anticipated subscriber demand for future services.

TDC Solutions is the second subsidiary within TDC Group to select SupportSoft software to enhance customer experience (see press release issued August 11, 2004, Titled: SupportSoft Extends Broadband Reach in Europe with TDC Cable TV).

TDC Solutions also selected SupportSoft SmartAccess™, which automates the installation of a DSL connection and SupportSoft HomeNet™, which automates the installation and management of a home network. For TDC Solutions’ high speed data customers in Denmark, this means that they can be up and running with their new DSL connection faster and, once installed, they can expect a more reliable and enjoyable broadband experience.

“At TDC Solutions we have built our business by taking exceptional care of our customers,” said Per Rasmussen, Vice President of Online Services at TDC Solutions. “They are using their broadband connections to change the way they interact with computing technology and the Internet. TDC Solutions aims to keep step with its subscribers by providing a SupportSoft service automation solution that can help us transform high customer care by making broadband installation faster plus provide more personal and rewarding ongoing service for our high speed data services.”

“Denmark has historically been seen as the bridge between continental Europe and the Nordic region. To be selected by Denmark’s leading DSL service provider is another step across that bridge for SupportSoft, in moving from being the leading provider of broadband service automation solutions for the Nordic countries to the same position throughout Europe,” said John Van Siclen, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Services. “We look forward to partnering with TDC Solutions in helping them effectively and efficiently grow their customer relationships.”
