Leading help desk services expert captures STAR award

Frazer, PA (December 7, 1999) – DecisionOne Corporation today announced that it has again been selected by the Software Support Professionals Association (SSPA) to receive one of the organization’s prestigious STAR (Software Technical Assistance Recognition) awards. For the second consecutive year, DecisionOne was chosen by the association as the Internet Service Provider of the Year.

The STAR awards are awarded annually by the SSPA to IT services companies that distinguish themselves in software and technical support. To qualify for a STAR award in the SSPA’s Internet service category, a company must demonstrate an outstanding level of customer satisfaction and retention in an environment of high customer interactions. Factors influencing the decision include data which demonstrates support metrics, customer call handling performance, comprehensive service offerings and customer satisfaction resulting in customer loyalty to its service.
