STAYINFRONT TO CO-SPONSOR CONFERENCE FOCUSING ON EMERGENCE OF TELEWEB SALES CHANNEL

Conference Board Event Will Feature Newest Strategies and Tools For Internet/Call Center Integration to Improve Customer Relationship Management

FAIRFIELD, N.J. - September 26, 2000 - The newest innovation impacting sales, customer service, and support organizations, the TeleWeb Channel, will be the focus of a seminar produced by The Conference Board and co-sponsored by StayinFront, Inc., a leading developer of enterprise-wide customer relationship management (CRM) solutions. The conference, “Successful Strategies and Techniques for Creating, Launching, and Integrating a TeleWeb Sales Channel,” will be held at the Hotel Nikko in San Francisco on October 26, and at the Marriott Eastside hotel in New York, November 15, 2000, and will also be co-sponsored by Oxford Associates, a major sales and marketing professional services firm.

According to Program Director Elaine Ross Bremer, the integration of the Internet and the traditional call center, resulting in the creation of the TeleWeb channel, is significantly impacting the way that companies are doing business and enhancing their abilities to acquire and retain customers.

“Leading industry experts and authorities in the field will show that the TeleWeb channel is simply the natural evolution of changing and converging technologies,” Bremer said. “Among the questions to be addressed by the distinguished presenters are: What is the TeleWeb channel? How will its creation impact your business? What are the tools and technologies needed to successfully deploy a TeleWeb operation? How will you recruit and maintain talent to ensure that the move from traditional call center to TeleWeb occurs seamlessly in the eyes of your customer?”

The faculty for the conference will include Martin Galligan, Vice President, Integrated Internet Telebusiness Operations, Xerox Corp.; Tony Bullen, Chief Technology Officer and Warren Tobin, Executive Vice President, Global Sales, StayinFront, Inc.; Patrick Stakenas, Executive Vice President, Splashnet.com; Tim Furey, Chief Executive Officer, Oxford Associates; Tom Doerner, Director, Sales Technology Solutions Design, and Irene Flora, Vice President, Team Services, Moore Corp.; Paul Luckrang, Vice President, SAP America; Ian Sanderson, Information Manger, BP; Thomas Fryer, Vice President, FIIS TeleSales Division, Fidelity Investments; and Jerry Colletti, President, Colletti & Fiss, Inc.
