STAYINFRONT ANNOUNCES WAP SUPPORT FOR WEB WORKS

FAIRFIELD, N.J. - August 8, 2000 - Providing yet another innovative business application solution, leading CRM software developer, StayinFront, Inc., today announced the delivery of WAP (wireless application protocol) support for the popular Internet Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and eBusiness application - Web Works.

StayinFront's HTML-based Web Works system, can now also process WML. WML is the markup language that allows Web Works users to gain access to CRM and eBusiness information from the new mobile WAP devices.

The benefits of WAP enabling for Web Works users are manifold, said StayinFront Chief Technology Officer Tony Bullen, citing the key advantages as greater convenience and lower costs. “Web Works allows organizations to quickly deploy CRM and e-Business applications via the Internet. Now, thanks to WAP enabling, they have even greater flexibility - with access provided via devices such as cell phones and pagers. This solution will assist with rapid deployment as users may now access the application anywhere, at any time, without having to manage distributed applications and data.”

In addition to greater convenience, Bullen also cited lower costs as being an important benefit of the new business application. “Not only will users benefit from immediate access to customer databases and the ability to update data in real time online, WAP enabling of Web Works will also change the cost of ownership dynamic for all organizations considering CRM and e-Business solutions.”

Bullen believes organizations with in-field agents, such as sales and service representatives, will be quick to embrace the new application. “The combination of Internet and WAP delivery is a powerful tool - allowing organizations to deploy sophisticated internet based CRM and eBusiness solutions to a large number of users for lower costs; especially those businesses that incorporate field service, merchandise, sales force automation, partner relationship management or customer self-service within their systems.”
