ServiceWare Strengthens International Presence With Establishment Of International Headquarters And Appointment of Managing Director

David Dow Signs On As Managing Director of International Operations Facilitating The Development Of ServiceWare International Headquarters In The UK

For Immediate Release OAKMONT, PA (26, 1999) – ServiceWare Inc. today announced it will enhance its presence in the international market with the establishment of a new International Headquarters in the UK. David Dow, former Business Development and Finance Director for Primus Knowledge, has joined ServiceWare as Managing Director of International Operations. His experience and reputation in the knowledge management arena will enhance ServiceWare’s global business efforts, and will provide the new International Headquarters with a recognized leader in the field.

The new International headquarters location will be key in the strategic growth of ServiceWare overseas. Since the opening of ServiceWare’s international headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland last year, ServiceWare has quickly become one of Europe’s leaders in knowledge management.

David Dow will be responsible for the sales and distribution of ServiceWare’s products internationally. He will oversee recruiting and management of ServiceWare relationships with its distribution partners; build a direct sales team; and represent ServiceWare as the senior executive for International. Developing the UK based headquarters will be a key first step.

David Dow joins ServiceWare from Primus Knowledge, a developer of Web-based problem resolution and knowledge management software. As Business Development and Finance Director at Primus, David was responsible for partner strategy, financial operations, facility and human resource management, sales contract negotiation and direct sales management for Southern Europe. Prior to Primus, David served as Acting Managing Director and Finance Director for SITEL UK Ltd.
