ServicePower Forms International User Group

NNAPOLIS, MD—November 16, 1999—ServicePower, Inc., the leading provider of enterprise-wide, field service scheduling software for the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) market, today announced the formation of the ServicePoweR INternational user Group (SPRING). SPRING exists to educate, inform, and facilitate communications between members, while providing a framework to influence the future direction of ServicePower products. SPRING will hold regularly scheduled meetings in Europe and North America to coordinate member activities.

At a recent SPRING meeting hosted by Xerox Canada, members elected Michel Operto of NCR, president, Mary Klein of Lucent Technologies, vice president responsible for coordinating user requirements, and Karl Hancock of Xerox, a member of the SPRING Board responsible for ensuring communication between the members of SPRING.

"SERVICEPower provides the opportunity to significantly increase the accuracy of service planning and delivery, while at the same time, reducing operational costs. SPRING members are already starting to benefit by sharing best business practices among member companies. I'm really honored to be the first SPRING president," commented Michel Operto.

Ian MacKinnon, ServicePower president and CEO stated, "ServicePower is very responsive to the needs of users, and SPRING provides an excellent forum for coordinating the input of market-leading companies to the product’s road map."
