ServicePower Signs OEM Agreement with Astea International

Alliance Expected to Accelerate Market Penetration of Workforce Optimization Software

Annapolis, MD, August 6, 2002 -- ServicePower (LSE: SVR), a global developer and supplier of workforce optimization software for the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) market, today announced an OEM partnership agreement with Astea International Inc. (Nasdaq: ATEA).  As an OEM partner, Astea will embed SERVICEPower technology into its product offerings.  Astea specializes in field service and integrated CRM solutions for companies that sell and service capital equipment.
