SalesLogix to Offer Guaranteed CRM with New QuickStart InitiativeSalesLogix QuickStart is the first bundled CRM offering with a 50% cash value guaranteeSCOTTSDALE, Ariz., August 29, 2001 Interact Commerce Corporation, the makers of SalesLogix, the leader in small business and mid-market CRM, and ACT!, the best- selling contact manager, today announced the launch of SalesLogix QuickStart, the first money-back guaranteed CRM solution. The program, designed specifically for small businesses, provides companies with a complete CRM package that includes software, support, services, and training, implemented in 30 days for one upfront, fixed price guaranteed. "This offering addresses a segment of the market that needs CRM, but that is both concerned by high failure rates and never ending deployments associated with large-scale CRM implementations, and apprehensive about incurring unforeseen implementation and consulting costs, said Sharon Ward, vice president, Enterprise Applications/CRM, Hurwitz Group. The QuickStart program eliminates these risks for small businesses and allows them to implement a CRM foundation that they can build on as they grow and their needs advance. SalesLogix.net, which launched in March of this year, is the foundation of the QuickStart program. The product consists of Sales, Marketing, and Support modules, and companies receive the advanced SalesLogix.net client and the base server. In addition, the QuickStart program includes: Needs Assessment and Customer Profile This process determines if the customer is a candidate for the QuickStart program, their current business situation, and their needs/expectations of their CRM solution. Server, workstation, and remote client install Customizations Pre-defined customizations such as field, picklist, and corporate letter templates are included based on customer need. Remote System Administrator SalesLogix will provide the customer with access to a dedicated database administrator (DBA) for 90 days as a part of the program. They will perform general and targeted system diagnostics; monitor database integrity, remote sync activity, and logging directory usage; troubleshoot operating system issues; and increase utilization of the system to meet user expectations by encouraging use of all of the systems capabilities. The RSA service can be continued after the 90 days through a service agreement or customers can have their own administrator trained and certified. Orientation/Training The program consists of an orientation, demos, and hands-on training. 30-day Web tutorial This service is offered for additional training and for remote users that could not participate in the onsite SalesLogix training. Post-install support Post-install support and maintenance is included for a year as part of the QuickStart program. Service contracts can be renewed at the end of the year period.
