education market, today announced a partnership to provide best-of-breed customer service solutions and best practices to universities and colleges. With a
combined experience of working with more than 100 higher education institutions worldwide, RightNow and LiquidMatrix will address how best to utilize both offline and
online service channels to meet higher education institutions’ key business objectives—student recruitment and retention, the quality of student services and alumni
relations.
Under the terms of the agreement, LiquidMatrix will make RightNow’s solutions a key component of its comprehensive technology solutions portfolio. RightNow, in
turn, will bring LiquidMatrix into engagements with higher education customers requiring additional consulting services and technology beyond RightNow’s core customer
service competencies.
Both companies have a strong track record of proven success assisting universities and colleges leverage phone, web and email channels to improve institutional
performance and efficiency. RightNow is currently in use at more than 60 institutions of higher learning, including University of Michigan, University of South Florida
and University of Montana. LiquidMatrix has a client roster of more than 40 schools, including Case Western Reserve University, DePaul University and Baylor
University. In addition to providing full life-cycle consulting services and best-of-breed technology, LiquidMatrix has developed and markets its own software
suite under the ActiveCampus™ brand.
