PrimeResponse and Viador Sign Strategic OEM Agreement to Deliver True Web-Based Marketing Portal

LAS VEGAS--Aug. 1, 2000-- Prime Response, Inc. (NASDAQ, EASDAQ: PRME), a leader in business to consumer relationship marketing, today made its second announcement at the National Center for Database Marketing Summer 2000 conference, releasing news of their strategic partnership with Viador Inc.(tm) (NASDAQ: VIAD), the number one enterprise portal company, to deliver an innovative Web-based portal for marketers and eMarketers. Through a long-term contract, PrimeResponse will license Viador technology to provide its partners and customers, as well as marketers in general, with a single view of the customer and a Web-based point of access to its suite of analytics, personalization, execution and reporting capabilities.

The PrimeResponse marketing portal will leverage Viador's comprehensive Enterprise Information Portal platform to provide an up-to-date, real-time view of the marketing function as well as an integration point to provide a single view of the customer across the entire eCRM suite, including sales, marketing and service. It is expected that the fast growing PrimeResponse customer base will quickly adopt this new marketing portal offering.

The formal introduction of this comprehensive eCRM marketing portal by PrimeResponse, Viador and other partners will be at a launch event at the DMA net.marketing Fall Conference & Exhibition on Sept. 24-26, 2000 in Boston, MA.
