OXFORD HEALTH PLANS IMPLEMENTS PRAGMATECH PRODUCTS TO ACCELERATE SALES, EXPAND MEMBERSHIP BASE

Proposal Automation Suite Rollout to Yield Comprehensive Information Repository

Amherst, NH, September 5, 2001 -- Pragmatech Software, Inc., a leading provider of sales effectiveness software, has announced that Oxford Health Plans, Inc., a leading managed care organization in the New York metropolitan area, is implementing Pragmatech’s Proposal Automation Suite of products to help increase effectiveness and efficiency in communicating with current clients, as well as proposing new business opportunities.

While Oxford has more than 50,000 corporate clients and works with more than 3,000 insurance brokers, it conducts business in the New York metropolitan area, with approximately 12.5 million potential healthcare members.  The company was looking for a technology solution that would enable it not only to communicate more effectively with current clients about new products and services, but also to reach out to business prospects more quickly and efficiently.

Oxford is implementing The RFP Machine®, The Proposal Assembler™, RFP Express®, Proposal Express™, and The RFP Tracking System™.  Using The RFP Machine, members of the proposal development group will create a centralized knowledge base containing information pertaining to every aspect of the company’s services and business operation.  Each of the Pragmatech products will then utilize the content stored in this central knowledge base.  

Pragmatech’s RFP Express software will give sales representatives access to information residing in the Oxford Health Plans knowledge base, enabling them to thread high- quality, consistent information throughout the sales process. Proposal Express will enable sales representatives to automatically create a variety of selling documents on their desktops. Together, the two products will let sales representatives rapidly respond to customer inquiries with the most consistent and current information available.  The RFP Tracking System will provide comprehensive management tools for recording, classifying, and monitoring proposal activity.
