Studies) (Nasdaq:PSFT - News) today announced that the University of Rhode Island (URI) has deployed PeopleSoft solutions for Higher Education,
including Financial Management, Human Capital Management and Campus Solutions, an integrated suite of Student Administration and Contributor Relations applications.
URI is leveraging PeopleSoft's pure Internet solution to improve the way more than 15,000 students, staff and faculty access administrative and academic information. As a
result, URI has streamlined their operations and dramatically improved administrative processes by eliminating manual processing.

A large number of campus administrative processes, such as student registration, are typically time intensive and delays can impact a student's entire academic curriculum.
Since deploying PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, URI's students and faculty are already realizing the benefits of a collaborative campus. PeopleSoft Student Administration
enables URI students to obtain online "over-rides" that grant them enrollment into full courses. Previously, thousands of students seeking over-rides had to wait in
line to process paper slips for this process.
URI is also benefiting from its campus-wide PeopleSoft Financials and Human Capital Management solutions. By centralizing the payroll function, teachers and
administrators in remote campuses are consistently paid on time and have immediate access to their payroll information online.
