Oracle Launches Online Partner Community

Oracle PartnerNetwork Provides Single Point of Online Entry to Oracle And Other Partner Resources

SAN FRANCISCO ORACLE OPENWORLD, Dec. 3 / -- ( http://www.oracle.com/tellmemore/?1159635 ) Oracle Corp. (Nasdaq: ORCL - news), the world's largest enterprise software company, today announced the immediate availability of the Oracle PartnerNetwork(TM) (OPN), a comprehensive online partner resource that simplifies the method of accessing and delivering Oracle®, and other third-party, resources. The Oracle PartnerNetwork enables partners as diverse as solution integrators, hardware vendors, application service providers (ASPs), system integrators and independent software vendors (ISVs) to gain a competitive advantage by moving their businesses online.

Developed with Oracle9i Database technology, the Oracle PartnerNetwork provides access to Oracle resources in a manner similar to Oracle's successful online developer community, Oracle Technology Network (OTN). The Oracle PartnerNetwork features a partner-specific dedicated web services portal that helps partners move their business online, cut costs and increase efficiency by providing immediate access to all of the resources and online services needed to develop a successful partnership with Oracle as well as to take advantage of all of the benefits an online business can offer.

All Oracle partners are in the process of making the transition to the Oracle PartnerNetwork, allowing them free access to the portal and the services it provides. For new partners, access to the portal will be included in the annual partner subscription fee, currently $1,995.00 (USD). Effective immediately, all previous corporate and regional Oracle Partner Web sites will be seamlessly redirected to http://partner.oracle.com.
