Oracle(R) Begins Registration for Oracle OpenWorld Online

Popular Interactive Web Conference for IT Professionals Returns For Fourth Year

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., Nov. 15 / -- ( http://www.oracle.com/tellmemore/?1078576 ) Oracle Corp. (Nasdaq: ORCL - news), the world's largest enterprise software company, today opened registration to Oracle® OpenWorld Online 2001, the industry's premier interactive web conference running in tandem with the popular Oracle OpenWorld 2001 conference, held December 2-7 in San Francisco's Moscone Center. This is the fourth year that the interactive web conference has complemented the live conference and has been available to information technology (IT) professionals unable to attend the event in person.

Oracle OpenWorld Online 2001 goes live December 3, and includes 35 hours of live web casts including keynotes by leaders of the IT industry such as Larry Ellison, Oracle; Michael Capellas, Compaq; Craig Barrett, Intel; Mike Ruettgers, EMC; Scott McNealy, Sun Microsystems; Gary Bloom, VERITAS; Marc Andreessen, Loudcloud; and Rob Glaser, Real Networks.

The online conference also features 18 compelling educational sessions covering areas of interest including Oracle9i, XML, Application Server, Java, Data Warehouse, and more. A new feature this year gives attendees the opportunity to personally interact with leading Oracle development experts, ``The Oracle Gurus'' via live chat sessions.
