(Nasdaq: ORCL) focused on the wireless Internet industry, today announced its entry into the wireless application service provider (WASP) market with a complete solution for wireless Web site creation and hosting. Mobile lottery players will be able to access past lottery results, receive alerts when certain numbers are drawn and view where a specific number has won before via any Web-enabled device. In addition, lottery players will be able to request a message be sent to their wireless device when a specific state lottery jackpot has reached a user defined level, such as $10 million.
