AEROChain(TM), the World's First Regional Aviation Marketplace, to Use Oracle E-Business SuiteREDWOOD SHORES, Calif., Aug. 27 -- Oracle in Brazil recently announced plans to develop AEROChain(TM), a marketplace from Embraer, the world's fourth largest commercial aircraft manufacturer, and ATR, the largest aircraft manufacturer of 40 to 70 seat turboprops. AEROChain(TM) will serve the spare parts and maintenance service needs of customers and suppliers to both companies and focus on inventory planning and maintenance collaboration across the supply chain. By allowing visibility up and down the supply chain, AEROChain(TM) is expected to increase efficiency and reduce costs for all participants in a market where procurement expenditures exceed U.S.$ 1.2 billion per year.
