Oracle Launches Oracle Online Partner NetworkIn the ``offline'' world, Oracle has traditionally partnered with independent software vendors (ISVs), value added distributors and resellers (VAD/VARs) and systems integrators (SIs). In order to meet the new opportunities of the ``online services'' world, Oracle Online Partner Network will expand beyond these traditional partners to include online software vendors, content providers, hosting service providers (such as telecommunications companies and banks), online distributors and aggregators and implementers. ``Online services are the future for software,'' said Mark Jarvis, chief marketing officer, Oracle Corp. ``We need to provide a robust partner network that allows us to work with our new and traditional partners in an 'online' way.
