NetManage Hires Experienced Senior Technology Marketing Executive as Vice President of Worldwide MarketingBertram W. Rankin Joins the Leading Provider of e-Business Host Access and Application Integration SolutionsCUPERTINO, Calif.-Nov. 6, 2000-- NetManage (Nasdaq:NETM - news), a leading supplier of e-business access and application integration solutions, today announced the appointment of Bertram W. Rankin as vice president of Marketing. Reporting directly to Zvi Alon, Rankin will oversee all marketing operations for NetManage worldwide.Prior to joining NetManage, Rankin was general manager for Ricoh Silicon Valley (RSV), a division of Ricoh Company Ltd., where he was responsible for all operational activities. Previous to that position, he was vice-president of Marketing at RSV and was responsible for the vision, product strategy, and sales and marketing programs for RSV's first product, eCabinet, an intranet/internet information management solution. He wrote the business plan that resulted in the creation of RSV, designed and staffed the marketing and communications departments, established a global distribution network, and developed RSV's initial Web presence and Internet sales plan.
