MOTIVE NAMES NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF SERVICESAUSTIN, Texas, November 16, 1999 - Motive Communications, Inc., (www.motive.com) the established leader in e-support, today announced the appointment of Rip Greenfield as Vice President of Professional Services. Greenfield will supervise the post-sales customer facing functions of several organizations, including deployment services, education, and customer support.Prior to joining Motive, Greenfield oversaw Oracle Corp.s Business Intelligence practice, which delivered large data warehouse projects for companies in the Central United States. In this position, he was responsible for creating an eBusiness solutions practice around Oracle products and partner technologies as well as instrumental in establishing the North American Business Intelligence community. Before that, Greenfield held consulting and management positions at Coopers & Lybrand and Andersen Consulting. Greenfield holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas.
