Cox Enterprises Subsidiary Selects Metrix e-Service SolutionLemon Busters enhances product service capabilities with mobile e-Service solution, Techlink® (Metrix, Inc.), and integrated scheduling and routing with ClickSchedule™ (ClickSoftware, Inc.)Waukesha, WI — October 19, 2000 — Metrix, Inc. announced today that Lemon Busters, part of the Manheim Auctions division of Cox Enterprises, selected the Metrix e- Service solution and the Techlink® mobile solution to manage their field force operations. Lemon Busters provides mobile vehicle inspection services to businesses and consumers. "Lemon Busters has some well defined business needs that we were able to meet, including a very rapid implementation plan (less than three months)," said Harvey Shovers, vice president of sales and marketing for Metrix. "Additionally, our Technology Alliance Partner ClickSoftware had a route optimization application that was ideally suited to meet their complete service chain optimization needs." Metrix software offers superior visibility and control over inventory, contracts and resources for field service and repair center operations. "Lemon Busters needed a solution that could streamline its contact center processes, track and schedule its field force activities, and increase management reporting capabilities." Shovers continued, "ClickSchedule will integrate with the Metrix application to make best use of Lemon Busters available field resources. It is capable of performing street level routing and optimization scheduling activities, as well as Batch scheduling, Appointment Booking, and Fully-Automated scheduling." In addition to the capabilities of the ClickSchedule application, Lemon Busters field force nationwide will have access to detailed contact information through Metrix’s Techlink, which provides information about scheduled service calls, including the history of the product, other products at the site and any associated contract entitlements. After the service call is completed, field service representatives can use Techlink to upload time, material and expense information to the corporate system, and order any parts — all from their laptop computers. This dramatically reduces time-to-bill and increases accuracy throughout the service environment. Techlink is the mobile e-Service solution of choice for field forces, which need to build customer loyalty and generate additional service revenue opportunities through exceptional product service offerings and results.
