Metrix Partner Program Offers Customers "Best-of-Breed" SolutionsWaukesha, WI - July 31, 2000 - Metrix, Inc., the world's leading provider of ProductService CRM™ and e-Service solutions, announces the creation and implementation of the Metrix Alliance Partner Program, designed to provide Metrix customers with the most complete and cost-effective solutions."We want to provide current and future customers with the best possible solutions from industry leaders," said Steve Szamocki, director of business development and alliances for Metrix. "We carefully select our alliance partners to ensure seamless integration with our technology. Only 'best-of-breed' partners are used when implementing and integrating a Metrix e-Service solution." According to Szamocki, Metrix's partners fall into two separate programs: Consulting Alliance Partner (CAP) and Technology Alliance Partner (TAP). Metrix's consulting partners are premier consulting and systems integration firms that have the resources to implement Metrix solutions on a regional, national or global scale. These partners focus on solving e-Business needs and have a high degree of e-Service and field service domain expertise. CAP program members have in-depth experience in the implementation of ERP, supply chain, CRM and advanced planning and scheduling applications, as well as relational databases, and other multi-platform and technology experience. They provide a broad range of services, including: * Onsite application analysis, * Domain expertise in business process solutions, * System design and scope development, * Project management, * Application integration, * Training and knowledge transfer. "These partners are consulting firms that provide Metrix clients with qualified professionals to solve particular application or business process issues," said Szamocki. "These resources enable Metrix to leverage our in-house e-Service and product service expertise." A typical Metrix technology partner has developed a technology such as hardware devices, or software components and solutions that, when combined with Metrix, provide customers with an unparalleled integrated solution. TAP program members extend Metrix core functionality through connectivity and integration including: * Sales Force Automation (SFA) solutions, * Advanced scheduling solutions, * Knowledge base solutions, * Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions, * Inventory Management solutions, * Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) solutions, * Help desk solutions. "Anytime there is the possibility there could be a gap in our solution, we have a TAP program member that can provide the highest quality technology component to complement the core Metrix solution," said Szamocki. "When combined with Metrix products, our customers will receive the most cost-effective, highly functional, interoperable solution possible for their e-Service needs." While the partner program is clearly advantageous for Metrix, Szamocki says the relationship is mutually beneficial. Metrix partners receive marketing recognition and opportunities, the ability to participate in seminars and client conferences, quality leads and access to the Metrix sales force and certified Metrix product training. "There are a number of benefits realized by our partners, so there is real value when they participate. However, the biggest winners of all are our mutual customers," said Szamocki. "They receive seamless, cost-effective, quality e-Service solutions delivered by Metrix and our best-of-breed partners." About Metrix, Inc.
