Full Identify Management Suite Licensed by SymantecSymantec account administration needs addressed by M-Tech's solutionsM-Tech, Mercury Information Technology Inc., the industry leader of identity management software solutions, today announced that Symantec Corporation., the world leader in Internet security technology, has licensed both P-Synch, a total password management solution and ID-Synch, a comprehensive user account management solution, to meet their company-wide, cross-platform account administration and access control requirements. Symantec was looking for a solution that would help reduce the volume of manual labor and decrease the turnaround time for password resets and changes as well as account creation and deactivation. By selecting and implementing M-Tech’s solutions, P-Synch and ID-Synch, Symantec is able to automate their account administration throughout the company and allow its global employees the ability to administer their own accounts. Symantec wanted an identity management solution that could provide compatibility with their existing installed infrastructure that was already supporting authentication and processes for provisioning user IDs.
