PeopleSoft eStore to Integrate Kana's Comprehensive Online Customer Communication Solution

Integration Provides Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support With End-to-End E-Business Solution

PALO ALTO, Calif.--Nov. 4, 1999-- Kana Communications, Inc. (www.kana.com), a market leading provider of online customer communications solutions, today announced that PeopleSoft has entered into an agreement to integrate the Kana platform with PeopleSoft eStore, enabling organizations to market, sell, and service customers via e-mail and Web-based communications.

PeopleSoft eStore integrates seamlessly with the PeopleSoft Supply Chain Management suite, giving companies real-time access to pricing, inventory availability, and order fulfillment, as well as order, shipment, and delivery status. Integration with the fulfillment system is unique among Internet commerce applications.
