Janna Systems Inc. Strengthens Management Team

Three new Vice Presidents for Operations, Human Resources, and Sales

TORONTO, Aug. 16 /CNW-PRN/ - Janna Systems Inc. (TSE: JAN), a leading provider of enterprise e-business Relationship Management (eRM) solutions for the financial services industry, today announced that it has expanded its management team to support the Company's strategic growth initiatives.

John Sheedy joins Janna Systems as Vice President of Operations, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, and is responsible for ongoing development of operational and administrative processes to support the Company's rapid growth. Prior to joining Janna Systems, John was a partner with Torys in Toronto and has been an advisor to Janna Systems since 1994. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Western, Ontario.

Kelly Glass joins Janna Systems as Vice President of Human Resources, responsible for the development and implementation of the tools, programs and processes that will increase individual productivity and organizational effectiveness. Prior to joining Janna Systems, Kelly worked with leading North American and global organizations such as Merrill Lynch, CIBC, Manulife Financial, and INTRIA-HP where she was responsible for global recruitment and development, and organizational effectiveness. Kelly brings over 17 years of experience in the technology and financial services industries to Janna Systems.

Edward Chick, former Director of Sales for Central and Mid-West United States Regions at Janna Systems, was promoted to Vice President of Sales. Edward is responsible for managing strategic sales relationships. His past experience includes major North American and international sales and marketing management experience. He worked for Philips Electronics in Europe, Xerox Corporation and InConcert Inc. before joining Janna Systems. He has over 19 years experience in the technology industry.
