FrontLines 2000 Technical Support Conference Announced

Following the overwhelming success of it's 1999 conference, Influent Technology Group announces the second annual FrontLines 2000 Technical Support Conference, to be held at the Wyndham Palace Resort & Spa in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, from September 25th through the 27th, 2000. Exploring today's headline-making issues surrounding the technical support industry, FrontLines 2000 emphasizes support-focused sessions, industry keynotes, and onsite support certification training and round table discussions facilitated by Help Desk 2000.

Keynote presentations will be given by Carolyn Long, President, Corporate Communications Company, and George Spalding, Principal Consultant, GSA and Program Manager of FrontLines 2000. Special Super Sessions will be presented by Martin Bean, President, Prometric; Malcolm Fry, Executive Consultant, Pink Elephant, Inc.; and Edward Hawthorne, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Bank America.

David Holcombe, President and CEO of Influent Technology Group, describes the conference as having "five major areas of focus: Certification, New Technology, Customer Service, Career and Personal Development, and e-Support." FrontLines 2000 addresses the most recent news, customer service techniques, career development methods, and the greatest e-support available to frontline support professionals.

FrontLines 2000 is designed for Help Desk Analysts, Technical Support Supervisors and Managers, Field Service Technicians, Field Support Supervisors and Managers, and anyone who works on or manages the frontlines of technical support. Sponsored by Certification Magazine, Help Desk 2000, IT Support News, and Professional Certification Magazine, this year's conference is more jam-packed with intense learning experiences than ever before. There is no expo at this conference.

The 96% customer satisfaction rating of FrontLines 99 is evident in the rave comments of attendees: "This was the best conference I've ever attended, and the first that focused on issues instead of products," Chelle Bell, IT Support Manager, Dyncorp; "One of the first conferences that really addresses support staff needs," Janet McGrane, Branch Chief, US Census Bureau; "Fantastic, impressive, informative, and fun! Absolutely great conference! Every speaker was wonderful!" Tess Depalma, CS Team Leader, Nemours Children's Clinic.

Delegates at FrontLines 2000 will also have the opportunity to receive their Certified Help Desk Professional or Certified Help Desk Manager certification by attending one of the onsite Help Desk 2000 pre-conference certification workshops. Pre-conference workshops will be held on Saturday and Sunday, September 23-24, 2000.
