iCommunicate Wins Top Award for Hosted Applications

Gold Award winner receives highest score of all entrants

 San Francisco, CA, October 24, 2000 – iCommunicate today received the Gold Award for Hosted Applications (ASP) in The Second Annual Users Choice Awards at the CRM Conference & Expo in San Francisco, CA.

The award, sponsored by Customer Support Management magazine and Real Market, is for iCommunicate.NET, the company’s premiere customer service solution for the Internet.

iCommunicate was recognized as being the youngest company to be presented with an award at the show. In addition, the company received the highest score of any of the competition’s entrants.

“We are grateful for the recognition from end users only 90 days after our product launch,” said iCommunicate CEO Louis Ravenet, accepting the award on behalf of the company.

The Users Choice Awards is the only awards program in which customer relationship management (CRM) products are judged by the end user. There were 168 product entries in a total of 34 categories.

Gold Awards were issued for products or services that scored tops in its category, had widespread voting and had at least three competitor products receive broad support. These criteria ensure that Gold Award winners stand alone atop a competitive field.

One voter commented that iCommunicate.NET was “the best looking web application I have ever seen.”  Noted Ravenet, “We designed iCommunicate.NET with the end user  in mind; our goal was to make our interface as customer-friendly as possible.”
