FULL CIRCLE SOFTWARE DRAWS INVESTMENT FROM SUPPORT INDUSTRY RIVALS

E-Support Services Software Company Raises Additional $7 Million in Venture Funding

Sunnyvale, CA, August 9, 1999—Full Circle Software, a new player in the support services market, has already fostered unprecedented cooperation in its market. Leading customer support industry competitors David Stamm and Steve Goldsworthy have both recently made personal investments in the Sunnyvale, CA-based electronic support software start-up. Stamm will also serve as a member of Full Circle's board of directors, the company announced today.

Full Circle also announced that it has raised an additional round of $7 million in venture funding, bringing the company's total capital investment to $15 million. The most recent funding came from Brentwood Venture Capital, Menlo Ventures and Bedrock Capital Partners.

"Ten years ago Steve Goldsworthy and I had similar visions about the way corporations would embrace customer relationship management to better serve their customers," said Stamm, who co-founded Clarify Inc. in 1990. "The companies we founded, although competitors, created the billion dollar enterprise relationship management market. Now we again share a common vision-Full Circle-but this time we're working together to build a new market."

Stamm served as Clarify's president and CEO until March 1998 when he was appointed chairman of the board. Stamm's longtime competitor, Goldsworthy, founded Vantive Corporation in 1990 and served as its Chairman and Chief Technology Officer until 1996. He now serves as a strategic advisor to Full Circle.

Stamm and Goldsworthy each take credit for developing the support services market. However, both competitors agree that Full Circle is solving the support crisis with innovative electronic customer support solutions.
