PLEASANTON, CA (October 11, 2004) FrontRange Solutions (Company Profile, Past Stories, Case Studies) announced today that Donna Bolen will be a featured speaker at the 2nd Annual IT Infrastructure Management Conference & Expo (ITIM 2004), the only industry event to address the evolution of IT infrastructure management and service integration. ITIM 2004 will be held October 12-15, 2004, at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Bolen will be presenting “Big Savings Not Exclusive to Big Business: Benefits of Using a Business Excellence Framework” at 11:30 a.m. (PDT) on Wednesday October 13, 2004. The session will be a joint presentation with Amado Cruz, IT Support Manager at FrontRange customer Commercebank. The program provides an inside view of Commercebank’s service desk, which is a 2004 Help Desk Institute (HDI) Team Excellence award nominee. Commercebank has realized one of its critical goals: ITIL compliance in incident and change management.

Bolen has 17 years of experience in IT service management and delivery, including managing 3,000 users and a complex network infrastructure. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and is ITIL Foundation Certified. The conference program will cover all aspects of IT processes, IT infrastructure management, and IT service management. In addition, there will be a significant focus on ITIL definitions of processes for service management and service delivery, and the people, process, and technology issues involved in building and maintaining a world class IT infrastructure.

The ITIM 2004 program will feature six robust tracks, including: IT Infrastructure Trends, The Mature Service Management Organization, Automating Infrastructure Management, Knowledge Management, Managing Migrations & Changes, Infrastructure Security, Governance & Compliance, as well as HDI and ITIL Training & Certification. More than 40 sessions will address the issues of understanding how ITIL fits into the big picture of infrastructure management; improving the cooperation and efficiency of the IT and service management teams; accomplishing a large application rollout smoothly and efficiently; lowering TCO; measuring, communicating, and improving the ROI on technology investments; supporting new trends — such as the emerging mobile enterprise, security concerns, distributed work environments, globalization, cross-and platform technology deployments; and aligning IT operations with organizations’ overall business objectives.

The ITIM 2004 expo hall will feature the latest tools, technologies and services from more than 30 exhibitors. Attendees will get an inside look at the latest and best tools, technologies, and service providers in the IT infrastructure and integrated systems and service management industry.
