Expertcity Expands Its Presence in the United Kingdom

Award-winning ASP offers UK companies a superior Web-based customer-support tool UK Webinar will demonstrate the benefits of a Web-based solution

SANTA BARBARA, CA November 5, 2001 – Expertcity, Inc. today announced that it has licensed its award-winning DesktopStreaming™ technology to six new UK-based companies, with plans to further expand its presence in the UK. Based in Santa Barbara, California, the company has grown steadily since its inception in 1999, and has recently found a large and receptive market in the UK for its Web-based screen-sharing technology for customer-support operations.

Expertcity DesktopStreaming provides customer-support representatives with the tools for live, Web-based interactions via chat, co-browsing, file transfer and screen sharing. This technology allows representatives to resolve problems directly on a customer's computer, making the call easier and more efficient. DesktopStreaming reduces call-handling times, while also increasing first-call resolution rates.
