INDIANAPOLIS – (September 14, 2004) – ExactTarget (Company Profile, Past Stories, Case Studies) , a developer of on-demand email marketing software solutions, announced the addition of five key executives to support the company’s growing business, which has expanded by more than 400 customers in 2004 alone. Joining ExactTarget are:

· Jill Snyder, vice president of marketing. Snyder oversees brand awareness, analyst relations, public relations, company promotions and data analytics. Prior to joining ExactTarget, Snyder held marketing positions with a variety of Indianapolis-based technology firms including Aprimo, Tivoli Systems and Software Artistry.
· Bill Boncosky, general counsel. Boncosky assists ExactTarget clients in understanding the legal environment surrounding email marketing. Prior to joining the company, Boncosky worked in private practice at Sommer & Barnard and as the general counsel of HPS, Inc., both in Indianapolis. He also has served as senior attorney for Qwest Communications, Denver.
· Karen Jung, director of product marketing. Jung is responsible for positioning ExactTarget solutions in the marketplace as well as for customer research, competitive analysis and product documentation. Jung previously held marketing positions with Indianapolis-based Aprimo and Made2Manage.
· Joel Book, director of agency partner management. Book works with both interactive and direct marketing agencies that use ExactTarget to create email-marketing campaigns for their clients. With 25 years of database marketing experience, Book most recently worked as an independent consultant to agencies and corporations. Prior to that, he was with PrimeResponse, Cambridge.
· Craig Herman, eastern sales director. Herman is responsible for managing a business development team from Florida to Massachusetts. He has 10 years of sales management experience with various companies including Printable.com, Minneapolis. ExactTarget also announced the promotion of Chris Baggott to Chief Marketing Officer. Baggott, a founding partner of ExactTarget, is the visionary behind the outbound email software solution. He is responsible for driving the strategic direction of ExactTarget's market definition and position, new business development and partnerships that have led the growth of the company to nearly 2,500 customers in just three years.
