The conference will take place October 4-6 in Indianapolis.

Called “The Prime Minister of Permission Marketing” by Promo Magazine, Mr. Godin’s approach to marketing has revolutionized the way corporations approach consumers. He is the author of six books including Permission Marketing, which spent a year on the Amazon.com Top 100 bestseller list and also appeared on the New York Times business book bestseller list. Mr. Godin founded interactive direct marketing company Yoyodyne in 1995 and within 3 years built it to the #1 creator of direct mail and promotions on the Web. In addition to Mr. Godin, such world-class marketers as The Home Depot, CareerBuilder, Liberty Mutual, iMation, Scotts, Churchill Downs and others will deliver presentations.

Approximately 250 marketers are expected to attend ExactExcellence from various industries and all size organizations to learn the latest on such topics as email deliverability, goal setting and testing strategies, campaign management, enterprise and legal compliance, integration and more. In addition, the conference will give users the opportunity to share ideas and learn from each other.

As part of the Conference, ExactTarget will present the first annual ExactExcellence awards in recognition of outstanding achievements. Entries will be evaluated on achievements resulting from the use of ExactTarget software. Areas of consideration include: creative innovation, ROI increase, LTV increase, response increase, permission list growth, major deliverability improvements, innovative systems integration, dynamic content sophistication and efficiency and cost savings.
