E.piphany E.5(TM) Optimized for Palm Handhelds, Adding Another Wireless Touchpoint Through Which Companies Can Gain a Single View of Each Customer

SAN MATEO, Calif., Oct. 17 -- In continued support for E.piphany E.5 for Wireless, E.piphany, Inc. (Nasdaq: EPNY - news) the leading provider of intelligent customer interaction software, today announced that it has extended access to the full E.piphany E.5(TM) system to Palm(TM) handheld computers. E.piphany is committed to helping companies realize the full benefits of customer relationship management by enabling access to valuable business insight through the use of wirelessly enabled Palm handhelds. Available immediately for Palm VII series handhelds with Palm.Net® service, E.piphany E.5 brings additional touchpoints by which companies can leverage a single view of each and every customer.

Announced in September 2000, E.piphany E.5 for Wireless includes: E.piphany Wireless Dashboard delivering remote access to business insight; E.piphany Real-Time Personalization for Wireless for real-time self-learning offer selection; E.piphany Campaign Management for Wireless to execute sophisticated campaigns; and E.piphany Wireless Service Portal enabling self-service for customers. E.piphany clients will receive the right to use E.piphany's wireless interfaces as part of the user and server licenses that they purchase with the E.piphany E.5 system.

E.piphany E.5 for Palm VII series handhelds or Palm V series handhelds with a modem is available immediately. There is no incremental pricing for E.piphany's added support of the wireless channel.
