EDS Teams with E.piphany to Bring Intelligent CRM to its Worldwide Clients

The E.piphany E.5(tm) Suite of Marketing, Sales and Service Applications Enhances EDS Digital CRM Offerings

PLANO, Texas and SAN MATEO, Calif. - EDS and E.piphany, Inc. today announced
EDS will offer E.piphany's next-generation customer relationship management
(CRM) software to its clients on a global basis.  

Under terms of a three-year, worldwide master software licensing agreement,
EDS will incorporate the full E.piphany E.5(tm) suite of CRM solutions as
part of its integrated CRM service offerings, making EDS a reseller of
E.piphany products.  Additionally, EDS plans to provide global outsourcing
and ASP services for the entire E.piphany E.5 suite of marketing, sales and
service applications.

The two companies will also work together globally to offer clients and end
users analytics-based intelligent CRM solutions that enable companies to
drive immediate customer value and rapid organizational ROI.
"Through this relationship EDS is now able to offer a more powerful
combination of real-time marketing, sales and service applications," said

offering the E.piphany solution to both its hosted and direct customers, EDS

The market opportunity for the EDS and E.piphany agreement is supported by
recent analyst projections.  IT industry analyst firm IDC projects the
worldwide CRM services market to grow from $48.4 billion in 2000 to $148.8
billion in 2005, a 25 percent compounded annual growth rate.
